O boy! Great news! At last I've been invited to participate in beta version of Spoonflower! Hooray for that! I get to order up to 3 yards of my own pattern. A tad pricey, but worth it to me:)
Now, what I have to do is decide which pattern(s) to use. Will you help? Will you let me know which is the most worthy of this textile experiment?! If so..... leave a comment. Tell me what's that lucky number(s). I can't wait to read it:)
What difficult!!!! They are all interesting.
ReplyDeleteI choose these designs: 9 - 15 - 19.
Good luck!
Marcela
I would choose 1 or 10. they are most unique to you! When can we all buy some??
ReplyDeleteI luv, luv your work!
Kade
go fifteen!
ReplyDeleteI can't pick just one....so I pick 1, 13, 15, and 17! They are so great, I love them all!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE #6 & 8. They'd make fantastic fabric!!
ReplyDeleteThis of course depends on what you'll do with the fabric... My choices would be 12, 15 & 20.
ReplyDelete#21! But I love them all...
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with #13, because I would make them into curtains and put them in my kitchen. LOVE LOVE LOVE 'EM!
ReplyDelete8, 12 and 24 are the ones that really speak to me. I love the colours, and the patterns seem to pop right off the page.
ReplyDelete12... or 17... or 24
ReplyDeletebut they are all fab :o)

Go #27!! I love them all though!
ReplyDelete12-13-14
ReplyDeleteBingo. Bango. Bongo
Love them all!
Number 7 because it just has a warm autumn/fall feel to it :)
ReplyDeleteI think 5, 7, and 25. I have been reading that others have had issues with "matching" colors on Spoonflower, and I think that those 3 have colors which might prove more difficult than others to match.
ReplyDeletePlus also, I love those 3!
i would chose 7, 12, 16 and 17!
ReplyDeleteits so hard though!
C
I adore them all but numbers 7, 12 and 20 are supercute! Go for them! :D
ReplyDelete#3- because the colours are insanely gorgeous and it's so very you.
ReplyDelete#7 - because I think it's one of your best
#21- because it would make a great duvet, especially with wood print sheets (and they are out there).
These are all wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI would choose 13, 15 and 17.
Congratulations!
i would do 12 and 13, for sure, but probably 13 in one of the other colors that you posted the other day (brown or yellow, or blue, i think?)
ReplyDeleteMost definitely 13. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness I always wondered why you didnt have fabric of your amazing designs! Oh it is so hard to pick, my votes are for:
ReplyDelete13, 14, and 20...but goodness it is so hard to pick. I love the pots and pans one though so awesome!
7, 8, 9, 15, 17... how useless, am no help at all, it's impossible to pick just one Helen!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to look at any of the other responses- it was a tough choice, but in the end #13 won my heart.
ReplyDeleteNumber 7!!!! I LOVE it.
ReplyDeletelucky gal! I love 9,10 and 16…especially 10! Your graphics are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI vote: 6, 10, 13, 15 but they are all fabulous! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteHI Helen,
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing your house in Design Sponge, I have yet to place the order with Spoonflower too. I had the invitation awhile ago but cannot seem to make the same decision.
It depends what you would use it for, if its for the kids then 12 is it! If for your kitchen then 13 and if a pillow for your living room 7!! I love those funky flowers.
Good luck in your decision.
They are all fab, but I love 7, 10, 12 and 17. All the best with that! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love 20,21, & 22. Thats convenient!
ReplyDeletei love them all! but how about 15, 22, & 24!
ReplyDeletethey're all so wonderful! but my two most favorite ones are #7 and #17. can't wait to see how your fabrics turn out!
ReplyDelete3.12.10.25 or 1.5.7.17...or just 14!
ReplyDeleteHow to choose?? But if I had to, I would choose 9, 13 and 22.
ReplyDeleteso many choices! not fair!
ReplyDelete13 would be my pick
oh how in the world!!!! there are too many!! I would say pick a color variation that all works together as a color theme, and then move on to the next color theme. I LOVE THEM ALL!
ReplyDelete14, 20 and 22 are my favourites because they seem more uncommon and interesting than any other fabric pattern out there.
ReplyDeletecongrats
ReplyDeletei really love all your designs
since you have asked i would want you to go for
#13
#16
#17
#26
It's so hard to choose!
ReplyDeleteFor fabric I'd go with 7, 17 or 15.
Good luck!
12 12 12 12 12 12 12 12
ReplyDeletei sort of love 12. can you tell? man, that's a tough decision.
OMG! You are the master pattern maker which makes choosing just one extremely difficult! Someone should really scoop you up to create a whole line of fabrics... but until then... I pick number 7! It's my favouritest.
ReplyDeleteImpossible to just choose one, but here are my faves (in no order):
ReplyDelete25, 17, 13, 7,15 (actually, 7 and 15 are my faves. Ok, 15 is my fave).
I think maybe 20 as I know red does seem to do weird things so maybe that would be a good choice
ReplyDeleteOh these are all soooo gorgeous and clever and creative and each and everyone is just sooo delish!!
ReplyDeleteI really really REALLY love them all, but No.1 and No.17 are so sweet!!
GO YOU LUCKY THING:):)
I love the designs: 12,17 and 23
ReplyDeletethere are so fantastic!

Number 19 has always been my FAV!!! 15 is so cute and 22 lovely! what a desicion! xL
ReplyDeleteOh, I love all your designs :-)
ReplyDeleteFor a fabric are 15 and 20 my favorites.
Number five is my favorite because it just is eye catching from a distance. It somehow hypnotizes me. I also think thirteen and fifteen would make lovely fabrics. All are beautiful and inspiring!
ReplyDeletei also LUV 7, 12 and 15! i think they are all beautiful together. LUV your house feature on DS. so great!
ReplyDeleteC
How exciting! Tough choice - but I'm partial to 12 (curtains or pillows with turquoise trim?), 13 (cafe curtains for the kitchen!), or 15 (little fall quilt for a girl or a smock for camping fun!)
ReplyDelete14!
ReplyDeleteBut I love pretty much all of them.
I suggest picking numbers out of a hat because this is a tough decision:)
ReplyDeleteI do love #13.
I think I would choose #17. It is a very sweet motive and one of the most versatile of all. It could be used for both for clothes as well as for decorating different rooms. Of course they are all great and it must be really difficult to choose only one..
ReplyDeleteHi Helen,
ReplyDeleteI'm from Brazil and I love to visit your blog every day, such an inspiration!
I would choose 19. I enjoy this cat!
Kisses
Ph, please do 15! I have been coveting this design for months, view it almost daily it seems! So please print, and then sell some- I will be first in line! I picture darling little bags for my 5 year old from it! I would love to see how it translates into fabric. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso want to tell you how much I love your prints- I have coffee with owl and happiness every day hanging in my studio and they make me smile every time I look at them!
CONGRATS!! Wow - difficult to choose, 'cause they are all GORGEOUS, and I'd want every one of them as fabric!
ReplyDeleteAnyway...I'd say #7 and #17...love the colors and little birdies!
♥
Whoah, that's a lot of comments! I would select #20 because of the interesting shape of the design. I think it would look very unique and different on fabric and add a whole new dimension to the design!
ReplyDeleteI am always amazed that you create SO MANY great illustrations and patterns. Choosing is very hard but my favourites are: 13, 26 and 20. Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteTough decision! My top three favorites are 6, 8, and 15.
ReplyDeleteIt' hard to decide - you are so prolific, but I really did love your Freda Kalo inspired prints so I'm going to say my favorite is #10. Please let us know how the fabric turns out!
ReplyDeleteThanks, thanks, thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteI had sooo much fun reading these!
h:)
6 and 9 and 22 OBVIOUSLY!
ReplyDeleteAll of them are perfect and I'd buy them NOW if they were available! Honestly, you've got to make them all!!!! But as a starting point, I'd do:
ReplyDelete#24
#13
#12
#8
#17
They are all great but 7, 12 and 17will be great on fabric.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog and great work.
please post the final result, I´m so curious since I´m about to make some Spoonflower fabric soon
I like 21 and 17, in that order. 21 would be good for cushions, curtains, etc because it goes with all my dark woodgrain.
ReplyDeleteI like 8 because it strikes me as a really good pattern to use for reusable shopping totes--keep with the eco theme and all that. But honestly, all of these are fabulous and amazing.
ReplyDeletethey are so beautifull, but my choice it would be definitly the number 6, the bright turquoise!
ReplyDeleteGood grief - so many great options! 15 as it reminds of Japanese kawaii - would look amazing printed on a linen. Personally, I want sheets made from 21!
