Sometimes the inspiration comes from weird places, and today that place is giftcardcollector.com. Looks like some of my favorite illustrators (Kirsten Ulve, Alexander Blue, J. Otto, etc.,) have done a giftcard for Target. It's a great skill to be able to convey a message and make it visible from a far on just 2x3.5 inches of space.I threw in the DOMO giftcard just because I couldn't stop laughing when I saw him dressed as a vampire:)
okay very funny Helen, I was just in Target about 10 min ago!! I love looking at all the new goods they have and I had to buy my little guy a Spongebob blanket. Boy do I wish I created Spongebob so I could just hang out and not work soo hard!

i am actually on the 3rd stage of getting a gift card for Target finalised. i designed it at the beginning of the year... such a long process before it actually goes into production.
