A new pattern:) This one is a little more horizontal than my usual pattern. You could tell I've been thinking about ceramics (again). Lisa Larson, especially, has been on my mind. I'm wishing for more hours in a day so I could take a pottery class:)
I'll see you all on Wednesday. Tomorrow is one of these - I MUST GIVE 100% TO THE PROJECT AT HAND - days, so I'll be focused on work.
looks great!
ReplyDeleteYour work is so inspriational! I have been taking a pottery class for almost 2 years now and it so great "therapy" and loads of fun...if you get a good class with a good "vibe". I highly recommend the kinesthetic experience. Try handbuilding first and eventually progress to the wheel...or not. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGraet!
ReplyDeletei love the last two... the opposites of each other. they are lovely!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. I signed up for a pottery class in a couple weeks for 8 weeks...I hope to make something fantastic!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I have just stumbled over your blog and it's just filled with fabulous things, hooray for you!
ReplyDelete...and yes, Lisa Larson is a one special lady, I especially love her animals.
Wonderful print, love your color choices. I am crazy about Lisa Larson's work! Thanks for sharing the link.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till you find time to go to a pottery class. Why don't you just get some craft clay stuff to muck around with in the meantime? I know you'll make the best stuff!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. Does it say something about my state of mind that I see monsters in it?! Cute monsters though, of course! The fountain-type object (laughing with teeth) and the one that's quite apple-like at the top looks surprised. And the two either side of the beehive lady! I can't stop seeing them now! :) Maybe it's your pottery-monster trying to escape. Maybe I just have a surreal eye! Hmm. I'm going to go now.
ReplyDeleteFab pattern - as usual! I've featured it on Cuteable today. http://cuteable.com/
ReplyDeleteI love these patterns you develop. What do you do with them? Are they for fabric? Digital scrapbooking? printing?
