holiday cards...

While I'm waiting for the snow to melt, I figured, it's time to show you my christmas cards for this year. Well, I know I'm in a serious minority here, when I say - I love a man with a beard.... but you must agree.... these 3 wise man are adorable:)
I had fun staying away from the traditional red and green. There's going to be plenty of that anyway...

  1. These cards are very nice, but I think you should paint "black" one of the three kings...In our tradition one of them was african.

  8. Dear Gaia! Thank you so much for pointing out that the three kings weren't all white! Pardon my religious ignorance:)
I've made a correction and am happy about it:)
I'm not religious in any way... and I guess that shows.
...but I'm a bit wiser today.

  9. I'm happy I was a help for you! Here in Italy we have a tradition: the "Presepe"...we make a Nativity, the Crib, in hour houses! I'm catholic now, but I was baptized when I was adult, 8 years ago...my parents were not religious, but every year my mother made the Crib with paper (papier-machè) and the statuettes!
It was so funny! Now, every year, I make my own statuettes, one time with "play-do", ones with painted rocks...it is lovely to see the "mange" cradle empty during the "advent", and 25 morning to see that little child in! :D
My third child was born on 25 december! What a gift!
