So... I don't really have an explanation for this pattern... except - I was feeling fruity in mid-century type of way. These little fruit mutation characters were just fun to do... so - take it where you may:)
LOL - I have no idea why this one made me just burst out laughing (in a good way!) - but it's very cute and makes me imagine a very exotic kindom of apple and pear peoples. It brightened my morning right up!
The characters are so inventive. here...love that you're calling them mutants, too! No explanation required. And great take on a tweaked primary color scheme.
