experimental...

So... it turns out... I'm not so good at watercolors... yet:) I sure am good at too-muchery , which just happens to be the enemy of watercolors. I'm going to take a 'less is more' approach on my next try. Also, after working with a brush for a couple of hours - I've gained back the appreciation for command Z. Not so easy to 'redo' without it.

  2. I think you're very good at watercolors. The paintings are lovely. I'm with you on the "undo" command. I wish my mouth had it sometimes!

  3. I love them, especially the kitty. But I do think the clean vector lines of color work really well with your style, especially on patterns…

  4. I love your watercolours! Why would you say "too-muchery" is an enemy? I think it´s so nice to see how an established artist, with an established style, works with another medium - and your transition to watercolour was great, I think.

But I´m with you a 100% on the command-z thing. I guess we only understand it when we don´t have it! :)

(then again, mistakes when painting are so good, aren´t they?)

    Please show us more soon!

  5. I find that my brain automatically thinks "command Z" when I do anything wrong- like spill a drink or burn some food! Ha Ha! I think I've been using computers for way too long!

Your water colours are lovely :)

  21. I think your watercolours are great. I work a lot with them and I prefer watercolour out of the tube, like Windsor Newton and brands like that. Payne's grey and yellow green are my favorite!
