ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks for bringing such a gorgeous book to my attention :)
ReplyDeleteI saw this in the bookstore the other day and had to literally pry it from my own hands. It was a sorry sight. Saving up for it as we speak! You were right to buy it for yourself--I can't think of anyone who could put all that lovely inspiration to better use!... Thanks for all the inspiration this year, and happy 2010!
ReplyDeleteI had never seen Charley Harper until I saw it last weekend at Anthropologie! They have a wonderful book collection. It's really something....Have a wonderful holiday! Beth
ReplyDeletethis book has gone on my wish list for about 80 years now. but, alas, it has not materialized. i think it's time for me to gift myself, too!
ReplyDeleteLove this book too, the draftsmanship alone has me hooked and he's unpretentious and honest about his work. The interview is just as interesting as his art work. It's now 20% off at Barnes and Nobles too!
ReplyDeleteAfraid I had not heard of charley harper before. have googled and am in awe...
ReplyDeleteWill give myself the book for my Birthday ( not until march..)!
thanks for the inspiration, as always!
Love,
Astrid
I bought this for my wife for her Birthday last year. Such an amazing collection of his work. We are glad we finally have a house big enough to be able to keep it out on a coffee table.
ReplyDeleteThsi was on my list, but I failed to tell anyone, so now I don't have it:(
