oh charley...

How could I resist? Being a huge fan of  Charley Harper, it was hard to pass it by... so I got it:)... an early Christmas present to myself - CHARLEY HARPER (An Illustrated Life).   420 beautiful pages to 'oooh' and 'aaaah' over.
What a body of work! I'm so impressed and inspired.

  4. Oooh, how I love Charlie Harper. I'd love that book, but have to settle for calendars instead. I have a friend who has the book, and I drool all over it. Congrats on giving yourself such a wonderful present.

You were right to buy it for yourself--I can't think of anyone who could put all that lovely inspiration to better use!... Thanks for all the inspiration this year, and happy 2010!

  15. Love this book too, the draftsmanship alone has me hooked and he's unpretentious and honest about his work. The interview is just as interesting as his art work. It's now 20% off at Barnes and Nobles too!
