It's been a while since I had a needle in my hand. Once in a while I get the urge to doodle on fabric and then pock it with a needle for hours... leaving colorful silky marks behind. Very relaxing...
Embroidering is a fantastic way of spending time, and especially when it ends up as nice as yours... :) I have embroidered since I was 7, but I must admit that I'm a big fan of "Embroidery for little miss crafty"...eventhough I'm 38. :))
Hi Helen I've been following your blog for a while now. I really love your work. I think you're very talented. And a very busy person!! (Where do you find the time?!)
Hope your work crosses the ocean so Europeans can get to know it!

You can do just about anything, can't you? So clever. xx
ReplyDeleteAdorable. I also feed poking a needle in one place for a few hours relaxing. My husband often asks me if I actually enjoy what I do.
ReplyDeleteThis post had just inspired me to start stiching! I have never done it before, but I can tell it will be a lot of fun. :)
ReplyDeleteI love doing embroidery- don't do it nearly as much as I'd like. Always nice when it's your own design, too.
