colors revisited . . .

Combing through all that has been done in the past 12 months (in preparation for Surtex) I found a few patterns that were asking for me to change them:) ... not too much - just a little on the color side of things. Sort of a spring facelift.

Sometimes, when you work on something for hours, your color perspective gets clouded... but a few months apart brings on a new, clearer vision.

Instead of April showers I woke up to April snow today (melted already... but I'm whining about it anyway:)... However, in the good news department: patterns and illustrations I did for Family Fun magazine a couple of months ago are now out in the spring craft issue.

So few of my friends are living in town... If not for the internet, I'd feel like a tree in the desert.

I haven't grown wings yet, won large sums of money (I can buy free time and plane tickets with), and Peter Pan did not drop by with magic dust ...

So - I'm making cards... Until I can make plans:)

It is always good to have an outlet for the chaos inside our heads. This pattern is my latest outlet. Thinking about the land of the rising sun and hoping it keeps on rising:)

My 7 y.o. daughter Margo really really wanted a blog of her own... and I say - why not? So here it is...'my strawberry unicorns'... a place to document ones drorings:) Better than in a box in the attic:)
