back that stitch up...

It's been a while since I had a needle in my hand. Once in a while I get the urge to doodle on fabric and then pock it with a needle for hours... leaving colorful silky marks behind. Very relaxing...

Adorable. I also feed poking a needle in one place for a few hours relaxing. My husband often asks me if I actually enjoy what I do.

This post had just inspired me to start stiching! I have never done it before, but I can tell it will be a lot of fun. :)

I love doing embroidery- don't do it nearly as much as I'd like. Always nice when it's your own design, too.

Embroidering is a fantastic way of spending time, and especially when it ends up as nice as yours... :)
I have embroidered since I was 7, but I must admit that I'm a big fan of "Embroidery for little miss crafty"...eventhough I'm 38. :))

Hi Helen
I've been following your blog for a while now. I really love your work. I think you're very talented. And a very busy person!! (Where do you find the time?!)

Hope your work crosses the ocean so Europeans can get to know it!

Love, Ellen
