Working on this cover has been a pleasure! My heart was fully in it as I've read the book to my girls before starting the work  and we loved it to bits! It really was a good read and I like how the cover turned out.

New Paper Goods from Roger la Borde (a). . .

It is such a pleasure to hold the final product in my hands and to know that it is done right and the quality is good and that people will enjoy it... I love the way Roger la Borde put together the "Enchanting Forest" Letter set. It makes me want to write a couple of letters. I will blog the rest of the new Roger la Borde work shortly... but you could see it all here.

June Watercolouring . . .

It's been a very dense June so far. When it's sunny I procrastinate (watercolouring, drawing, sitting in a swing) in a day time and work like a maniac at night (sleeping is a morning activity). I think this is my favourite month.

FLOW - colouring book . . .

Coloring is for everyone! I liked it 35 years ago... and I like it still:). Thanks to Flow magazine I got to collaborate with my friend and fellow illustrator Carolyn Gavin on a very fun and different colouring book (that is now available via Flow web shop). 

a few pictures from Surtex . . .

 

Surtex was... as it always is... a blur... Gone in a flash. It's a few days during which I turn into an extravert and meet a lot of wonderful people. This year didn't disappoint. I've been home for almost a week... but I still feel like walking downstairs to grab a taxi to Javits Ceter. Anyway... the introverted creative life goes on. Here are a few pictures from the show:).
