In the beginning there were only two bunnies... But, things happen... and here we are.

bear with me, sweethearts . . .

I've been away for too long... Last weekend I took off to a yoga retreat with my lovely friend Carolyn Gavin. I almost forgot what working is like by the end of the sweet 4 days I've spent away... but reality has a curious way of sucking you back in. I've been working away... mining through a dense to do list. Can't show you yet... but the time will come to share and I will:). For now - here's my new print - Bear with me, Sweetheart!
P.S.: Check out Carolyn't fun house - featured in a Canadian Style at Home (April issue). It was great to be able to stay there for a couple of days:).

'The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle' by Haruki Murakami inspired this little sketch. The feelings and thoughts that book gave me are still lingering in my mind.

field of dreams . . .

I didn't mean to make this pattern... I swear. I was just thinking colours... warm colours, and of lying in the grass on a warm summer day... with nothing to do and no plans for the future... and the pattern just made itself... Hope it makes you feel warm.

new oil . . .

My mushroom grey (seemed like a good idea at the time) living room was the least colourful spot in my house... it looks good in the summer, when the scene in the window is green blue and yellow... but in the winter... less than cheerful. And, so, I made an oil painting to bring back the happy (that's the happy living room spirit sitting on the sofa). 

CoCo Birds . . .

I got back from my Cuban adventure a few days ago... well, my body got back... my head is still somewhere near the ocean. Don't know how long I can keep this delusion up:). Perhaps, rum can help:)... Putting together this pattern helped. It's a medley of island flowers and birds. Can you feel the humidity in this repeat?

Will put together a few vacation photos for you soon:)...

I've been holding my breath, but, finally - I'm off to see the (much needed) sunshine.... Off on a 2 week family vacation! Dizzy with anticipation! See you in February:)!

My 'Mr. Leo - King of the Circus' illustration has been turned into a fun paper cup by JÔMUCCI. Besides being fun, these are also biodegradable and printed with soy-based ink. Hello Circus Party!:)

down to a floral . . .

Yes... another floral. There's over a meter of snow on the ground... minus20C... and I'm drawing fantastical summer blooms. I've got the art of escapism down to a floral:). 

wallpaper blooms . . .

I feel like wallpapering something! Maybe, if I had flowers all over the walls, I could trick my brain into thinking it's spring already:).

New year... shiny new print... about a gang... a really small gang:)...

the cheery tree . . .

We had the best tree ever this year! It has been cheering me up every morning since we got it a month ago... big bushy tree (star was even scraping the ceiling when we put it on at first). It's almost time now to say goodbye to it... I'm replacing it with this pattern:).
