While I'm waiting for the snow to melt, I figured, it's time to show you my christmas cards for this year. Well, I know I'm in a serious minority here, when I say - I love a man with a beard.... but you must agree.... these 3 wise man are adorable:)
I had fun staying away from the traditional red and green. There's going to be plenty of that anyway...

These cards are very nice, but I think you should paint "black" one of the three kings...In our tradition one of them was african.

Love these. I like it that Christmas can be any color. Oh the possibilities... :)
these are adorable, and the colors are great. don't worry, i love a bearded man too. my husband has a beard large enough to hide things in :)
a-dor-a-ble! very xmasy feelings coming through. and wisemen take me back to christmas pageants in grade school. good job!
My husband has a super red long beard too! :D I have a Viking in my house!
so wize + adorable.
i also love a man with a beard.. especially the 1 i have at home, who sports a "van dyke" as i've been told it's called.
Just found your site - your illustrations are making me giddy with happiness. amazing work. I will be back often.
Dear Gaia! Thank you so much for pointing out that the three kings weren't all white! Pardon my religious ignorance:)
I've made a correction and am happy about it:)
I'm not religious in any way... and I guess that shows.
...but I'm a bit wiser today.
I'm happy I was a help for you! Here in Italy we have a tradition: the "Presepe"...we make a Nativity, the Crib, in hour houses! I'm catholic now, but I was baptized when I was adult, 8 years ago...my parents were not religious, but every year my mother made the Crib with paper (papier-machè) and the statuettes!
It was so funny! Now, every year, I make my own statuettes, one time with "play-do", ones with painted rocks...it is lovely to see the "mange" cradle empty during the "advent", and 25 morning to see that little child in! :D
My third child was born on 25 december! What a gift!
