oh charley...

How could I resist? Being a huge fan of  Charley Harper, it was hard to pass it by... so I got it:)... an early Christmas present to myself - CHARLEY HARPER (An Illustrated Life).   420 beautiful pages to 'oooh' and 'aaaah' over.
What a body of work! I'm so impressed and inspired.

Oooh, how I love Charlie Harper. I'd love that book, but have to settle for calendars instead. I have a friend who has the book, and I drool all over it. Congrats on giving yourself such a wonderful present.

This book has been on my amazon wishlist for quite a while now. Maybe I should follow your lead and just buy it for myself :)

I saw this in the bookstore the other day and had to literally pry it from my own hands. It was a sorry sight. Saving up for it as we speak! You were right to buy it for yourself--I can't think of anyone who could put all that lovely inspiration to better use!... Thanks for all the inspiration this year, and happy 2010!

this book has gone on my wish list for about 80 years now. but, alas, it has not materialized. i think it's time for me to gift myself, too!

Love this book too, the draftsmanship alone has me hooked and he's unpretentious and honest about his work. The interview is just as interesting as his art work. It's now 20% off at Barnes and Nobles too!

I bought this for my wife for her Birthday last year. Such an amazing collection of his work. We are glad we finally have a house big enough to be able to keep it out on a coffee table.
