Fifteen cm of snow is what I've been promised to see when I open the curtains tomorrow morning... and so, I  feel that showing you the gift card I designed for Target is the right thing to do. Maybe you'll see it next time you are picking a few things at the big red and white store:).

llama happy . . .

It might be getting colder, it might be getting darker... and it definitely snowed today, but I refuse to be unhappy! Concentrating all my powers on happy work! How do you like my happy llama?

Did some watercolouring last weekend. Still trying to escape autumn. Works better when I use greens:).

once upon a time . . .

Sometimes, after I read a book, it stays with you a long while. It happened with 'Stardust' (by Neil Gaiman) to me. I wanted to hold on to the magic just a little longer... and so, I made a print. I hope it prolongs the fairy tale:).

The colder the weather gets, the brighter are the colours I choose. We are going to get enough vitamin Grey in the next 6 months as it is:).

It's been a cold and rainy September. Soon there'll be a lot more content on my blog... since the weather is driving me inside... into my hobbit hole... into my work.

watercoloring September . . .

I bit of watercoloring... to get my mind less busy. September is the busiest month. School, work, dance lessons, singing lessons, french lessons, basement remodeling... phew... sometimes a girl just needs to watercolor it all out:). Hope your September is moving along swimmingly:).

Saturday afternoons are made of . . .

These are the ingredients that made up my Saturday afternoons this summer. I will miss the summer noise of the neighbourhood children on my lawn, the shifty squirrel that expects to be fed, the spotty neighbours cat that loves the sunny spot on the deck, the coffee on the swing. What were your summer weekends made of?

So much to read... so much to discover... so many faces to put to the familiar styles... and, so many illustrators I didn't know of. Love it!
