My recent obsession : The 'This IS' series by author and illustrator Miroslav Sasek. So far I got 'This is Rome' & 'This is New York' (which I picked up in the big apple itself:)
My neighbourhood is full of kids and I like it that way. It's been hot and muggy. I keep the window in my office wide open... eavesdropping on all sorts of hilarious conversations between 5-9 y. olds:) This pattern is in a way... inspired by it.
It's a unique pleasure to meet people you admire... I've had the pleasure to finally meet Heather Moore, Jillian Phillips, Alison Cole, Xenia Taler, Mati Rose and to see Carolyn Gavin again (phew... what a name dropper:)...
