I'm here to cheer you up today with my new work:). Tell you that - Good Things Will Come. Spring will come. It's kind of my version of 'hang on, kitty'.
All packed and ready to go. One more day of snow and ice left... before I get to see the sand and the sun again! We only see each other once a year - but ours is a glorious friendship. The sand doesn't mind my uber white body (the illustration is where the wishful thinking comes in) reading on it. I don't mind it getting into places from which sand might not return:). Girls are also beside themselves with anticipation. We all need some cold and snow free family time. I'll see you all mid February... hopefully, all full of vitamin D and the will to illustrate tirelessly for the rest of the year.
Lola will be turning 12 in a couple of weeks... but we'll be on vacation and there will be no reason to make little birthday invitations for all her friends. So... I made this birthday pattern instead!
This is my PRINTSOURCE 2014 flyer. The show starts on January 13th in NY Penn Plaza Pavilion. I'll be represented by Lilla Rogers Studio in Booth E3. Here's to a good show!
New year... new patterns. Can you take your eyes away from my hypno-cat? I didn't think so:). He's transmitting positive messages your way... all about winter ending soon and greenery returning:).
It's like keeping a fireplace (within you) going. Just another log... another floral pattern. That... and 'oh so sweet' family time. That also helps to melt the wintery white.
A lovely envelop containing 'Flow Book for Paper Lovers' arrived in the mail. Exiting! As a stationery and pattern lover I think that it's a treasure trove. Cards, wrapping paper, stickers and envelopes... Oh my! Plus, my 'Wild Horses' pattern is featured in a few places. Pleased as punch:)...
If you need a break from the holiday imagery that seems to be everywhere (not that I'm opposed... but I like variety :) - you've got it. A wild tea party in paradise is as far from shovelling the drive way or shopping in the mall as you can get. Hope it gives you warm thoughts...
