us? crabby?... no way!

Girls brought home these funny little crab apples from their nature walk. I photographed them and made this little ridiculous collage... to prove that they aren't all that crabby:)

Anais Ate An Apple... and than a pear...

Harvest this pattern with me in the comfort of your four walls. Blue pears, pink apples - whatever your heart desires... Put them in your minds apron. Maybe you'll make an inspiration jam out of them... to spread later on... when winter would make all things colorless and cold. Store some fun in your head pantries:)

adding some color...

I have always admired the way Volksfaden (online fabric shop) have incorporated the old black and white photographs into their site and ad campaign - bringing them back to live with the colorful fabric collage! What an awesome idea! I wanted to try too... so, I did... and I'll have to do more (when time allows) - because it's fun:)

REX RAY

I first saw Rex Ray's work 10 years ago in a Metropolitan Home magazine. Up until then collage was nowhere near  my list of favorite media, but his work was so fresh and exciting - I've completely changed my mind about cut and paste:)
10 years later, Rex Ray is still one of my favorite artists. When I saw this book - REX RAY - ART + DESIGN - I couldn't pass it by. I had to have it! It's full of collage magic:) Check it out if you have a chance.

wallpaper my way:)

This weekend I went antique shopping with my good friend Rigel, and all the mid century mod magic (most of which I can only afford to dream about) has inspired me to make this wallpaper pattern. I liked it sooo much, I've decided to make little collages to see how if would look in a 'real' world. Here's a pick into my head. Hope you like it:)
