Thanks to apartment therapy, I now have one more thing on the ever-growing list of wonderful things I want and can't afford.
I'm not even much of a bike (or any kind of outdoors activity) person, but for this Electra Girard bike I could change my ways:)

Hi Helen, I saw your fabric/embroidery illustration in my Boston Globe today, very cute!! Great idea. Years ago when I worked in a print studio I used to sell prints that I had either sewn or glued fabric to and they sold like crazy. It seems to be working for you!!
Darn it! How much is that bike???
It's so cute... I guess if I own one I wouldn't want to ride it ouside. It will be stolen in a heart beat.
There is so many thing I want but can't afford too... alas... ^^
that bike is AMAZING! where do you find these things! x
That bike is great. But I would be afraid to leave it outside, I wouldn't want it to get stolen!
Nice bike!
ha ha! You sound like me! I don't drive and I'm always dreaming of owning some sort of classic car, and I really don't like outdoor activities either but every once in a while I'll fall in love with a really good looking bike! I'm so shallow.
It is adorable. I bought a green 70s bike off of Craigslist about 3 years ago. It sits in the garage now. I used to live in a more bike-friendly neighborhood... Anyway, I bet you could buy a cute retro bike and paint it and re-do the seat. Make it look ALMOST as cute as the red one...
that bike is adorable!! for a second I thought your illustration was on there.
Great looking bike! I love those Electras... I'd get the purple one with paisley details. Mmmm...
Just found your blog yesterday, and I'm really looking forward to reading it and seeing your designs.
Cheers!
