easy pizzie!

Here's my little do it yourself project. I got this very inexpensive IKEA paper lampshade and I painted fun flowers all over it with gouache paint! Fun, fast, cheap and nobody has one. I might get kids to do one next time. Even if it doesn't work out - I'm out a cleaning job and a few dollars. No big deal for this much fun!

This is a very good idea. I've been on an altered-IKEA kick myself lately.

Actually, I even posted about it today, and I completely forgot when I left a comment!

Where do you get gouache paint? Is it a brand or a specific kind of paint?

Twinklebee, gouache is a kind of paint. It's good to use when you want the solid effect on paper (unlike watercolors). Probably, acrylic would do just as well. You might have to wait for a coat to dry and go over it again - to make it solid.H:)

It won't have effect in actual fact, that's what I suppose.
